In 2001, River Romance began with a small two-person boat and a passion for the Sacramento River. Nobody knew about River Romance when we started, but now people book dinner cruises with us from all over the United States when they visit the Northstate. Our guests have found that we are quite a unique experience and they usually leave with a new appreciation for Northern California and the Sacramento River. The PREMIUM package includes a wine tasting of TOP TIER (high-end) wines. Each cruise has also includes a cheese and charcuterie plate (larger sized than the standard package) assembled from local and international products (adjusted by group size). Welcome aboard our authentic paddlewheel riverboat, revived to its former glory and moored along the Old Sacramento Waterfront.

Ideally located adjacent to downtown, the Delta King offers an authentic cultural perspective to the blossoming city. Sacramento River Cruise is proud to announce that we will be adding a tequila tasting cruise available from June 15th through August 15th, 2024. Our tequila tasting cruise will be hosted by tequila aficionado Rachel Cate and will feature rare high-end tequilas not available locally. This intimate USCG Certified vessel seats sixty guests for gourmet meals and social events, full bar service, and dancing under the stars, accompanied by an exceptional and professional staff.

Having grown up in the Northwest, the family enjoyed many memorable experiences cruising the American and Canadian San Juan Islands. The River City Queen was a natural extension of combining food and beverage experience with a love of the water. This synergy has helped make the “Queen” Sacramento’s Premier charter boat experience. If you have any special dessert requests we can accommodate for an additional fee, or you are welcome to bring your own speciality dessert like cake or pie, or ice cream. While we do not provide alcoholic beverages including beer or wine on the boat, you are welcome to bring your own alcohol. We will happily provide all needed drink ware on board including, stemware, ice bucket, corkscrew, and ice.
